Reading a Thermometer 3 (Sub Zero)

Overview:

Students read and record sub-zero temperatures on thermometers. This activity helps them understand temperature measurement in freezing conditions. Designed for middle and upper primary students.

How the Activity Works:

Students are presented with thermometers showing various sub-zero temperatures. They read each thermometer and record the temperature in the provided space. They are also asked to record specific temperatures on blank thermometers. This activity strengthens students' skills in reading and recording temperatures, particularly in cold conditions, and reinforces their understanding of the temperature scale.
